August Wrap-Up / September TBR

Whew. This last month was an absolutely terrible, terrible month in terms of reading for me. I know, I anticipated this, but still... I am shocked at how little I read. I mean, for the first quarter of the month I was too obsessed about Teen Wolf to read anything and the other 3/4 I was busy with school beginning, because next week I'm already starting my final exams for this semester and so it was very crammed and very much work. I'm excited for Year 11 though, so far, it's been lots and lots of fun!

So this month I read seven books:

The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey
Goddess by Josephine Angelini
The Summoning (#1) & The Awakening (#2) by Kelley Armstrong
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Pivot Point by Kasie West
— not sure if it really counts since I actually finished it on the 1st of September, but Lips Touch: Three Times by Laini Taylor

So, that's it. I did go precisely by my TBR, with one exception to that being Lips Touch: Three Times, which has replaced Out Of The Easy by Ruta Sepetys for me, because I didn't really feel like it and felt more like Laini Taylor at that time. So that's that.

All in all, I think it's been a decent month, although I did have a reading spurt during the last ten days and before that, I really hadn't read a lot. Which isn't good. I am hoping to get more regular reading done this month again, especially since I am very excited about a lot of new releases coming soon.

So, my TBR for this month is...

The Reckoning (#3) by Kelley Armstrong, which I have already read & liked
— The Pledge by Kimberly Derting
— The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater
— The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
— Frigid by Jennifer L. Armentrout/J. Lynn

I have already read one novella this month, The Transfer by Veronica Roth, which is a short e-book about Four's faction transfer and it was FABULOUS.
So, besides these six books I haven't really planned for anything, because my mood right now seems to be wild and all over the place. Maybe, if I have the time, I'll start reading Partials this month, too. Or maybe Hex Hall. Or maybe Carnival of Souls, which I have been wanting to read for forever. I don't know. We'll see. I have a loooong list of books already bought but still unread.

Also keep your eyes out for my next Haul, because I'll combine August & September into one (hopefully)! If I can get everything together. :D

Love <3
